After a long illness Peter Michael West, aged 58, passed away on March 12, 2025. Peter was a beloved son, brother, and friend.

He was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Peter was born on July 10, 1966, in Hamilton, Ontario. He graduated from Hill Park Secondary School where he excelled in sports playing basketball, football and of course baseball.

Peter went on to have a successful career in the automotive industry working for Ford Motor Company at the Oakville Assembly Plant for over thirty years. His colleagues admired his work ethic and his ability to bring people together.

Peter is survived by his loving mother, Gayle (Bullock); his brother, Daniel (West); his sister-in-law, Mary Anne; his niece, Amelia (Bauldic); his nephews, Eric and Grant (West). He will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends and all who knew him.

Peter was preceded in death by his father, James West; his grandmother, Mertle West; his grandmother, Cecilia (Buddy) Robinson; and his grandfather, Edward Robinson.

The family would like to recognize and thank Sheri McKenna for everything she has done for Peter. Over the last few years, she has always been there for Peter in his times of need. Sheri is truly one of God's special people.

I know Peter would want to tell all his fellow Bruins fans.. "Keep cheering them on guys!"
