Peacefully in her sleep, in her 94th year, the Lord took home our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna Jacoba Wiersma (nee DeVries) to be with Him on Friday, November 8, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Elco Wiersma (2022) and loving mother of Bill (Marian), Ron (Sonia), Diane (Theo) and Darryl (Wendy - fiancé). Survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Sister to Margaret (late Frank), late Arnold (Gertie), Charlie (Jennie), Alice (late Fred), Christina (late Bill), late Harry (Joanne) and Janet (late John). Predeceased by Wilma (Andrew) and Elsie (Frans). Sister-in-law to late John (Jane), late Bill (Magda) and Sylvia.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at First Hamilton CRC followed by a luncheon until 1 PM; Funeral Service to follow. Interment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to World Renew.
