Jane Welby
July 19, 1931 - September 16, 2024
We are saddened to announce the passing of Jane Welby on September 16, 2024 at 93 years of age. Survived by daughters Susan (Stephen) and Jennifer (Mike). Loving Gram of Anthony (Montana), Steven (Samar), Nathan (Kayla) and Erin (Eric). Beloved GG of Aiden, Heaton, Kai, Leo and Rae She will be missed by so many, including childhood friend Barbara Reid (Calgary), dear friend, Cathy Woolsey, her Erskine Church Family, The Knit Wits and longtime neighbours on Nancy Street.
An additional special thank you to all of the management and staff At Summit Heights Retirement. You truly are an amazing group of caring people.
Visitation will be held at M.A. Clark funeral home 567 Upper Wellington St. Hamilton on Friday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. Service will be at 11:30a.m.
Reception to follow
There will be a private family internment at Hamilton Cemetery afterwards As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations, made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Janes family.

Sue, Jen and your extended families, we send our sympathies. Jane was a lovely lady, a person I remember so fondly. Not sure I ever heard her raise her voice when you know the three of us deserved it from time to time. Sadly I'll be away and unable to celebrate Jane's life with you next week. Condolences to all,

I recall, with fondness, the kindness and humour that Jane generously shared with my late parents. I do recall as a teenager the support that she gave my family. These characteristics were the quintessential hallmarks of Jane.
