The Lord in his wisdom took Gerald to his eternal home.
Though we are saddened by his passing, we still rejoice for he has triumphantly returned to our Heavenly Father and faithful Saviour, Lord Jesus Christ.
Loving husband of Leida for 48 years and a loving dad for Garrett (Rachael), Jozina, Alexander (Belinda) and Ramona.
Caring grandpa for Mckenna, Benjamin, Kaitlyn, Erica, Kimberly, Madalyn, Dominic, Analise, Gloriana, Kezia, Alethea and Hezekiah. He was also a loving foster Dad for 108 babies.
Dear brother of Richard (Ina), Arnold (Ann), Shirley (Jerry) Bulthuis.
Dear brother-in-law of HenkϮ (Eef Baartse) Huinink, Leny (Bill) Doppenberg, Bill (Miep) Huinink, Gerry (Minnie) Huinink, AlexϮ (Bernice + Neal) Huinink Buiter.
Treasured uncle for many nephews and nieces.
He will be missed by many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 26, from 5-8 p.m. and Celebration of life Tuesday, August 27, at 11 a.m., both at Immanuel CRC (61 Mohawk Rd W., Hamilton)
A private burial will be held prior to the service.
