Dear Dad,

I miss you more than words can say. Being your baby girl, the fourth of four children, has been the greatest blessing of my life. Some of my most cherished memories are of the times we spent together at the Royal Botanical Gardens, where you taught me how to garden. Those lessons were more than just about plants; they were moments of connection and love.

I remember how you would take me to my organ lessons and how we’d celebrate with a burger and fries at Paul Bunyan's. Those treats were special, not just for the food but for the time spent together. Your love for back scratches and a hot cup of coffee are little things I’ll always remember and smile about.

You had the biggest heart and the best sense of humor. Making people laugh was your greatest feat, and you did it effortlessly. Even in your last few years, when dementia took its toll, your essence—your warmth and humor—still shone through. With Mom always by your side, you stayed with us, surrounded by love until the end. I’m grateful you went quickly and without suffering.

You lived a wonderful life, and your family loves you deeply. I hope you know that we will take care of Mom, just as you would have wanted. May God take care of you now. You are in a place of peace, free from pain, and your spirit lives on in our hearts.

I love you, Dad, always and forever.

Your Baby Girl
