It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Arthur McFadden (Bob) from Binbrook October 1, 2023 in his 80th year at St. Peter’s Hospital. Retired from Dofasco for 31 years. Loving husband of Carole (Holmes) and soul mate for 56 years. Dear father of Mark McFadden (Grace, deceased) and Leann Lazarevic (Vojin). Proud Papa of Paige, Claire and Ava McFadden and Myles and Marcus Lazarevic. Dear brother of Jim McFadden (Laura) and brother in law of Gloria Rendina (Ralph, deceased) and Ken Holmes (Marg) and remembered by many cousins and 7 nieces and nephews.
Bob and Carole spent 32 years at their cottage in Red Bay where many extended friendships were made. They spent their retirement on cruises and traveled to round out their life.
Special thanks to the PSW’s, Hamilton General Hospital (stroke ward) and St. Peter’s Hospital for their compassionate care at the end of life. Celebration of life at Clark’s Funeral Home 567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 1-4. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers make a donation to your favourite charity. Private graveside service at White Chapel Memorial Gardens at a later date.
