It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on March 7, 2023, in her 91st year. Adored wife of Fred, Beloved mother of Steve (Joanne), Debbie (Ernie), Graham (Michelle), Kimberley (Rob) Michelle (Darren), Amazing grandmother of Ryan (Joanne), Mike, Dave (Katie), Kenny, Mark (Dana), Kayla (Derrick), Lawrence, Kyle, Tyler, James, Taylor, Karley, Reid. Loving great-grandmother of 9. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Cherie and sister Evelyn. Iris was born in Lancashire England, met the love of her life in 1953, and married her Freddy in 1954. They came to Canada in 1957 and raised their family on Collier Crescent, where they lived for 61 amazing years. Mom loved to spend her time gardening, and cake decorating. She spent many years volunteering for many organizations, helping in the schools and coaching Ringette. Mom loved to watch her children and grandchildren playing hockey and the many sports they were involved with. Special thank you for the wonderful care of mom to the PSW and Nurses from Bayshore, SEN and GMA's Angel Reid. Please join us for a visitation at M. A Clarke and Sons Funeral Home, 567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton on Friday, March 10th from 5 to 8pm, where The Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 11th at 9:30am.
