With sadness and loving memories, the family of Janet Stirling announces her peaceful passing. She was born in Northfield, Birmingham, England to Mary (Barton) and Alfred Whitehouse. Janet was pre-deceased by her childhood sweetheart and beloved husband, The Reverend Canon Charles Stirling (2011). Loving Mum to Philip (Florence), Mary Lelievre (Dave), David (Denise) and John (Kelly). Cherished Grandma to Mike (Denise), Sarah (Mike), Amy (Derek), Diana (Kyle), Alison (Tyler), Jennifer (Brodie), Robert, Nicolas, Blake and MacKenzie (Xiaoxi). Proud Great-Grandma to Hailey, Liam, Stirling, Mason, Finley, Evelyn, Victoria, Paul, Griffin, Raegan, Callum and Kai. Dear Sister to Paul (Violet), Judy (James), Bruce (Barb) and Donna (Paul). Long time active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and Christ's Church Cathedral. Many thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights, both Retirement and Long Term Care. A Celebration of Janet's life will take place at Christ's Church Cathedral, 252 James St. N., Hamilton on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society. Arrangements entrusted to M.A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home.

We will miss cousin Janet on our theatre trips to Drayton. We send our sympathies to family and know that a person of great kindness and generosity will be dearly missed.
