Catherine Napholc

February 16, 1930 - October 5, 2021

NAPHOLC, Catherine (nee Chrystian)
1930 – 2021
Born into a family of 7 siblings (3 brothers, 4 sisters).
Wife of the late John Napholc (2010)
Anyone who knew Mom knew her greatest joy was “her boys” (Chris (Jamie), Curtis (Cathy), Cameron (Debbie), and Corey (Bonnie). She was very proud of all of her children and as the family grew so did her pride. She loved to cook, bake, share stories of her times on the farm with her siblings and every child received at least one handmade quilt. Her specialty was her pies, cookies and her shortbread which will be miss dearly. Her love for her boys was passed on to her grandchildren, (Curtis, Josh (Brooke), Crystal (Paul), Jonathan (Danielle), Michelle (Jeff), Michael (Amanda), Riley, Austin and Hailey.
She was able to spend lots of time so many laughs with her great- grandchildren Rowan, Gerris, William and Copelyn, with two more on the way. We will continue to tell them stories about their great gramma so that her memory never fades. We may even try a few of her recipes, but no doubt they won’t turn out the same!
Mom will be missed by her friends at the Hilltop Quilters, her long standing neighbours, extended family and friends.
We feel blessed that Mom lived almost 92 years with good health and that she was able to stay in her own home to the end and that is what she truly wished for.
We would like to thank the Hamilton Paramedic Services and the Hamilton Police Services for their kindness and excellent care taken with our Mom’s passing.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place.

Dear Napholc Family

I am so happy to have known and loved Kay. So many great memories

Her 90th celebration brought such joy and seeing her at the baby shower and hearing her talk about her grandchildren with such love and pride made my day.

I will cherish my Kay tulip,

Thank you Kay 😇for giving us Chris💛

Our best wishes to the many family members who will celebrate Catherine's long and fruitful life in thoughts and memories. We enjoyed her friendship as "newbie" neighbours on Winchester Blvd. Catherine had a sense of humour, always spoke her mind. We liked that about her. She knew when to approach, when to step back. Her baked goodies were tasty. Her back yard was a veritable Eden. We'll miss her.
