We met Howard in 2016 when our son Logan attended the July & August camps at CWHM. For the next 4 years, Logan looked forward to spending time with his favourite mentor every summer. We are so very grateful for Howards's endless kindness & encouragement while Logan was in his care. Howard may not have been aware, but his influence made us all strive to be better people. He leaves behind a most wonderful legacy of inspiration to all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

We had the pleasure of getting to know Sandy and Howard when we shared a cottage for Nocole Raftis' wedding. A nicer couple you would ever want to meet. Heartfelt condolences.

I met Howard 2.5 years ago when I first started as a volunteer. Howard was always a delightful gentleman, who spoke genuinely about how life was going each day that I saw him. He gave me much insight into the Education program at the Museum, which helped me integrate into my role as a Tour Guide. I looked forward to chatting with him, and will miss the sparkle in his eyes and the wit in his voice. My condolences to his family.

Howard and I met at CWH in 2000. We had many years of great friendship. We enjoyed 18 years of trips to Silverdale's in St Ann's. You will never find a greater truer friend and such a fine gentleman loved by all. His kindness and generosity was know to all, we have lost a member of our family! He will be with his lovely wife Sandy now and will be at peace.
My deepest condolences to the family!

Our deepest condolences to the family. Howard was a wonderful workmate and friend. I will miss his humor, kindness and his love for the CWHM. Howard will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We had birthday cake the other night for staff, at a museum program - the corner piece with lots of icing was set aside for you. RIP my friend.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Howard. It was a pleasure to work alongside Howard, he was a great mentor and friend. He was always supportive and kind to me, and loved the community of people he saw so often at the museum. He was one of a kind and will be missed and remembered.

I wish I had the opportunity to know Howard more beyond our regular morning hellos before schools arrived at the Museum. He was always kind and knew how to get a laugh out of the kids. My deepest condolences.
