STARR, Greta Agnes
Passed away peacefully on July 28,
2019, in her 94th year. She is survived
by her beloved husband of 70 years
William (Bill) Starr. Loving mother
of Barbara (Leon), Janet, Patricia
(Peter) and Nancy (Peter). Adoring
grandmother of Andy (Amanda),
Heather, Marielle (Jay), Christopher
(Sherri), Christy (Devin), John (Kim),
Daniel (Ashley) and Owen. Beloved
great-grandmother of Andi, Elliette,
Grayson, Lucas, Felix, Hailey, Austin,
and Veda. Special aunt of Michelle
and her children Bailey and Nathan.
Greta was predeceased by her parents
Rhoda and Dudley Marshall, her
brother Bob and her beloved
grandson Matthew. Greta was a
proud graduate of the Hamilton
General Hospital School of Nursing
class of 1948A. Greta and Bill
enjoyed many winters in Florida.
The service will take place at the
M.A. Clark Funeral Home, 567
Upper Wellington St., Hamilton on
Wednesday, July 31 at 11:30 a.m.
with a reception to follow.
Interment to follow at Mount
Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made in Greta’s
memory to the Cancer Assistance
Program or Neighbour to Food Bank.
