EARLS, Flossie
Flossie died peacefully on July 16,
2019 in her 82nd year, at Bob Kemp
Hospice with family by her side. She
is predeceased by Bev, her husband
of 29 years. She leaves behind sons
Michael (Aileen) and David, grandsons
Joshua, Matthew, Jordan and Marcus
and brother Robert Moulton (Cathy)
and brother-in-law Ross (Clara) and
a number of nieces and nephews.
Flossie spent her early years in St.
Williams where she met Bev,
eventually marrying and moving to
Hamilton. While raising her family,
she was active in her community as a
member of Linden Park Community
Church, bookkeeper at Whitley
Wodehouse, and canvassing for the
Canadian Cancer Society. Flossie was
an avid reader of books and the
daily newspaper (often cover to
cover). She enjoyed travelling,
gardening, crosswords and spending
time at the Sackville Seniors Centre
taking yoga, tai chi and producing
many wonderful bunka art pieces
that family and friends proudly
display. Flossie's favourite pastime
was watching her grandchildren in
action, whether it was sport, music
or school performances. The family
wishes to thank all the St. Joseph's
home care nurses and in particular:
Theresa Hastings, Hamilton General's
Outpatient Lab and medical day
care staff and staff at Bob Kemp.
Special thanks to Dr. A. Junaid (Tara,
Carla, Roberta) for their years of
support, care and compassion. In
lieu of flowers please send
donations to the Bob Kemp Hospice
or Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitation will take place at M.A.
Clark & Sons located at 567 Upper
Wellington Street in Hamilton on
Friday, July 19th from 2:00 - 4:00
and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral to be
held at the Funeral Home Saturday,
July 20th at 10:30 a.m. with
reception to follow.
