CLAPPISON, Helen Nancy (nee Hvozda)

Passed away surrounded by family at St. Peter's Residence on June 30, 2019, in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Alan (1997). Loving mother of Mark (Laura) Clappison. Fondly remembered by her grandsons Justin (Kristy) and Thomas (Tory). Survived by great- grandchildren Rory, Lily and Tanner. She was a long time employee of the HSBC bank. Special thanks to the nursing staff at St. Peter's Residence- Aspen floor, for their compassionate care. Visitation will be at the M.A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME (567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton) on Friday July 5th from 9:00-11:00am, the service will begin at 11:00am in the chapel. Burial to follow at the Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

We little knew that morning God was to call your name.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you,

you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
