DEYS, Trudy (nee Foppen)

On August 18th, 2018, Trudy went to be with her Lord. She died, peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice at the age of 81. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Fred (2007). Survived by her siblings Janny v.d.Broek, Kars Foppen, Henk and Ria Foppen and sister in law Alie. Predeceased by her brother Gijs Foppen. Also survived by brother in law Gerrit and Marta Deijs, and many nieces and nephews in Canada, the Netherlands and Germany. Trudy was involved with St. John Ambulance as a volunteer and an instructor for over 50 years. She was a passionate artist who willingly shared her talent with many. She was a devoted volunteer with the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for over 10 years. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their compassion and care. Visitation will be at the M. A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME (567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton on Sunday August 26th from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service will be at IMMANUEL CHRISTIAN REDFORMED CHURCH (61 Mohawk Road West) on Monday August 27th at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
