Passed away peacefully with family
by her side at the Willowgrove LTC
on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in her
96th year. Predeceased by her
husband Bill, brother Vern and sister
Elsie. Beloved sister to her brother
"Kenny". A devoted and engaging
Aunt who provided a positive and
creative influence to all her nieces
and nephews. Loved and will be
missed by all of her family and
everyone that knew her. Nieces
Elysia, Cindy and Nancy will cherish
her many special and kind gestures
through the years. Marion loved all
things beautiful: people, animals,
fashion, flowers and music. A
woman of many talents, her creative
flare shone whether at the sewing
machine or in her garden. She was
honoured with multiple Trillium
awards for her beautiful gardens.
Her special gift of the written word
was showcased during her many
years at CKOC writing advertising
copy. Larger than life, Marion was a
commanding presence who embraced
all aspects of life with unbridled
passion. Her family gratefully thanks
the dedicated and caring staff at the
Willowgrove who cared for Marion
over the past several years.
Visitation at M.A. Clark & Sons
Funeral Home, 567 Upper
Wellington Street at 10 a.m. on
Friday, May 11th with Service to
follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
Burial to follow at Mount Hamilton
Cemetery. Donations to the SPCA
would be greatly appreciated.
