HAMILTON, Margaret
At St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family on March 17, 2018.
Predeceased by her husband John MacDonald Hamilton (1999) and her
brothers Charles Speare and James Speare. Dear sister to Lorraine and her
husband David Taylor. Beloved mother of Kathleen, Shawn, Stephen, Karen
(Paul) Crandall, and Maureen (Michael) Isnor. Cherished grandmother to
Jordan (Lauren), Devon, Heather (Josh), Stuart, Colin, Steven and Thomas.
Fondly remembered by many nephews, nieces and cousins. Margaret was for
over 80 yrs, a long time member of Chalmers Presbyterian Church, over 50
yrs in the choir and involved with the quilting club as well as many other
church events and activities. One of Margaret's favorite things was getting
together with family especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her
life. Visitation at the M.A. Clark and Sons Funeral Home 567 Upper
Wellington St. Hamilton on Friday, March 23rd from 7 - 9 p.m. A Memorial
Service will be held at Chalmers Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March
24th at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the nursing care she received by Cynthia
and Milli, and the rest of the medical staff. In lieu of flowers, donations to a
charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
